In data de 23 mai 2011, Fundatia Scheherazade a sarbatorit Ziua Internationala a Diversitatii Culturale pentru a doua oara la Hotelul Intercontinental din Bucuresti. Acest eveniment a fost gazduit de Excelenta Sa Domnul Doru Costea, Secretar de Stat in Ministerul Afacerilor Externe, Excelenta Sa Domnul Mark Gitenstein, Ambasadorul Extraordinar si Plenipotential al Statelor Unite in Romania si Fundatia Scheherazade. Evenimentul a fost sustinut de Sof Medica.

For the second year Dakin Central Europe – Romania was part of the project DAIKIN FOR LIFE initiated by Daikin Central Europe GmbH. On the 24 th of October 2008, in the amphitheater of Marie Curie children’s hospital were officially inaugurated the Seminars in Pediatric Surgery Series organized by The “Carol Davila” Medicine University of Bucharest and “Paracelsus” Salzburg.
On the 25 th of November as a follow-up of the Scheherazade Gala, orphans from the Pinocchio Center have received toys, Christmas trees and decorations, food and personal hygiene products, and school supplies from our sponsors: Procter&Gamble, Carrefour, Unilever, and Condor Style.
The students from the American International School of Bucharest visited the children from Marie Curie Hospital offering them gifts and making them forget for a moment all the problems
The social Campaign 2% FOR MARIE-CURIE HOSPITAL – year 2009 Scheherazade foundation started on the 15 th of April 2009 the social campaign “2% FOR MARIE CURIE HOSPITAL”, having as partners Bucharest Prefecture, Carrefour, and TVR.
Pe data de 31 octombrie 2012, Fundaţia Scheherazade în parteneriat cu Ministerul Afacerilor Externe a organizat la Bucureşti o recepţie consacrată celebrării Festivalului Eid al-Adha. Eid Al Adha, numită şi Sărbătoarea Sacrificiului, care comemorează marea încercare la care a fost supusă credinţa profetului Abraham (Avraam), atunci când Dumnezeu i-a cerut să-şi jertfească propriul fiu. Această sărbătoare este celebrată de către toţi musulmanii din lume inclusiv de cei din România. De altfel, credincioşii din toate religiile monoteiste recunosc şi sărbătoresc într-un fel sau altul acest sacrificiu.

Since the foundation was formed in 2007, it has been a tradition to light up a Christmas tree at the Marie Curie Hospital with Santa Claus and presents.
This is a small sample of what condition were in the hospital since this was build in 1984. Nothing has been changed so far.
On 16th December, the sixth floor of the Marie Curie Hospital was reopened after the renovation. This floor was renovated by the sponsorship of Enel Cuore who donated the foundation with 500,000 Euro for the renovation of the 6th and 7th floor

Fundaţia Scheherazade şi Spitalul Clinic Judeţean de Urgenţă din Constanţa au inaugurat pe data de 1 iunie 2012 Secţiei de ambulatoriu pentru copii, renovată conform standardelor Uniunii Europene, în prezenţa doamnei Europarlamentar Daciana Sârbu, Președintelui Consiliului Judeţean Constanţa, Nicușor Daniel Constantinescu și a primarului Municipiului Constanţa, Radu Mazăre.
„Prin proiectul Copiii fac bine ne propunem să oferim copiilor din Nord-Estul României un spital modern în care să poată beneficia de cele mai bune tratamente. Este cel de-al doilea mare proiect al nostru după renovarea spitalului de copii Marie Curie din Bucureşti şi suntem încrezători că vom avea un sprijin valoros din partea autorităţilor, a personalităţilor publice, a organizaţiilor private, a institutiilor mass-media, cât şi a cetăţenilor pentru a finaliza cu succes şi renovarea acestui spital de copii din România,” a afirmat Wajiha Haris, preşedintele Fundaţiei Scheherazade.
